Hydraulic Technicians

HYDRAULICS TECHNICIANS: Diploma/Vocational in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, between 25 to 35 years of age, with 3-5 years working experience in maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs of hydraulics systems and service jobs in workshop and customer job location. Knowledge on piping/tubing lay out and ability to understand and read hydraulic/electrical schematic circuits. Personnel’s need to be with hands-on experience. Ability to communicate in English.

 Hydraulic Fitters

HYDRAULICS FITTERS: Vocational ITI trade or equivalent. The candidate will be responsible for repair and service of hydraulic components and systems. Age should be between 20 to 28 years with 3 to 4 years experience in a hydraulic background company. Communication in English a must. Experience in laying out hydraulic tubing’s and piping is an added advantage.

 Hydraulics Engineers

HYDRAULICS ENGINEERS: Mechanical Engineering Degree Holder, between 25 to 35 years of age, with 4-6 years experience in Complex Hydraulic systems. Ability to communicate, in-depth knowledge on computers, read Hydraulic schematic circuits, trouble shoot and commissioning of Industrial, Oil & Gas, Marine and Mobile Hydraulic systems. Capable of leading a team of Technicians on Hydraulic related projects. Knowledge of Eaton, Parker, Rextroth, Huggland products are essential. Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics control system is an added advantage.

 Hydraulic Design Engineer

HYDRAULIC DESIGN ENGINEER: Mechanical engineer with 3 – 5 years of exp. in designing hydraulic systems for various applications. Knowledge of different Hydraulic products & manufacturers. Knowledge on offshore marine equipments like winches,cranes,skidding systems, jacking systems is a must. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Automation studio. Failure analysis and decision making skills is a must.

 Hose Van Technician (Sharjah)

HOSE VAN TECHNICIANS: Vocational ITI trade or equivalent with minimum 1 Year of experience in carrying out assembling and service of hydraulic hose component jobs in workshop and customer job locations. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic hose, fittings & allied product range & related services. Knowledge of various hydraulic hose, fittings related brands and applications. Knowledge of international hose & engineering standards with Valid UAE Driving License (Manuel). Communication in English a must.

MMSU Technician

MMSU TECHNICIANS: MMSU Technician will be responsible for all operating within the GPRS technical team both within the E&S facility and onsite locations with key customers. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery, achieving & exceeding customer expectation superior to competition. Operates under limited supervision on all technical aspects of the Gates Productivity and Reliability Services (GPRS) program for the Engineering and Services Division in the Middle East. Carry out assembly & service of hydraulic hose, Pressure Testing (Hydro) and Mobile Hydraulic Flushing component jobs in MMSU Vehicle and at customer job locations.

Project Engineers

PROJECT ENGINEERS: Mechanical with 3+ years of extensive experience in entire project cycle includes design, development, project execution/completion within the time frame, cost, quality and safety parameters and extensive knowledge in marine, Oil & gas and drilling equipment. Ensure high level of customer satisfaction, technical assistance & prompt after sales service & manage inventory levels for timely delivery. Responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning, equipment refurbishment of application jobs. Recording of measurements and test results and readings and interpreting drawings, manuals and code specifications. Strong communicator and in-depth knowledge on computers. Knowledge on Hydraulics could be an added advantage.

Health & Safety Manager – Oil & Gas, Marine (UAE)

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER – OIL & GAS, MARINE: The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for formulating and implementing HSE policies which are compatible with Gates Corporate strategy; meet the requirements of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards; and satisfy the various statutory and regulatory requirements of Gates E & S global operations. This challenging position will involve the generation of HSE procedures, the development of training and awareness programmes, execution of risk assessments, internal and external audits and the monthly reporting of global HSE data. An element of international travel will also be required. The successful applicant will possess a technical degree and will have at least 5 -10 years HSE management experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. He/she will also be familiar with the HSE requirements applicable to service personnel working in the Oil & Gas and Marine industries, and will have a proven ability to promote exemplary HSE practices, as well as being involved in corporate reporting structures.

WORKSHOP TECHNICIANS: Vocational ITI trade or equivalent with minimum 1 Year of experience in manufacture of hydraulic and industrial hose component jobs in workshop within Gates guideline and client specifications. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic hose, fittings & allied product range. Perform all tasks in relation to the daily running of the workshop as required by the Workshop Supervisor, including client interaction, transaction processing, inventory control and housekeeping.

Monitor, inspect, identify, and evaluate all Types of Welding, Fabrication, quality assurance procedures, sub-contracted products, and the likes. Conduct assembly line testing and inspection of subcontracted products/jobs, identification of hazards and conducting quality briefings and procedures. Should CSWIP 3.1 Certified.

Ref: HCL/JXB/HPF/07/01 Engineering Degree Holder, with 8-10 years related managerial experience. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company develops a competent Hydraulic/ Pumps/ Filtration sales and service capability and will be supporting branch operations, specifying and selling approved Hydraulic/Pumps/Filtration products and services. He will establish, maintain and develop relationships with product suppliers, as well define operating processes and procedures for hydraulic/Pumps/Filtrations sales and rental.
